Went to my very first protest today! It was a small crowd in St Louis and the rain was cold but we made our presence known. Lots of supportive horns. I will be back...

I'm currently digging out of the first real snow storm I've experienced in Missouri. Being a Minnesota boy I wasn't prepared. Luckily I still know how to run a shovel!

The widower across the street still puts up a Christmas tree every year. Has no children and his wife's been gone for years. Just seems very cheery.

This is Miami. She is our new foster pup. We have a pit bull mix that we rescued a few years ago and now we help Gateway Pet Guardians by fostering another until they are adopted. Miami is smart, lovable and loves to wrestle. Adoption fees are covered.

Took the day off for my wife's bday. I'm sitting with her as she gets her new tattoo. We picked out together. No I don't have any tattoos and done plan to get any. But this one's nice. It'll be colored and filled. Will post the finished product.

Fall is my favorite season! My backyard tree is very reflective of my mood at the moment. Cold, stripped bare, but still clinging to some hopes. Melancholy is the color of the day.

It's officially Thanksgiving Holiday here in my house. I have no relatives coming to visit and no one to see, so I am going to put out my Welcome may and see who feels like stopping in. Happy Fall!!
