trying to get into using an e-ink reader, comparing options, figuring these are mature products, but they are both mediocre in slightly different ways. kindle has the amazon ecosystem stink, UI looks bad, even when paying more for no ads. Kobo device feels flimsy and the UI is painfully slow

real estate algorithm has pegged me as “70s land art guy” and shows me New Mexico acreage - outside Belen there’s a long skinny 160 acre plot of land ("Parcel 53"!) several times longer than the nearby airport runway. (cc @lemonodor.bsky.social ideas for this!)
