We spent almost a month bouncing between Vegas and Flagstaff, AZ.
Vegas has… well… kinda fallen off. I’ve been coming here most of my life and many of the things I loved have disappeared. Table games, cheap food and drink, even the party atmosphere.

How I wish our families lived literally anywhere else. Additionally we were all sick the week we were in town and our favorite Mexican restaurant has gone to shit.
I guess adventuring can’t be fun all the time. Anyway, we’re on to greener pastures now.

We came, we did business stuffs, we celebrated Mrs. X’s birthday. Houston is, well… Houston.
Besides the business stuffs we mostly hid out in our hotel, it was hot and stormy most of our visit.

Back stateside, back in the Big Apple. Only for a day though, we’ve got pressing business elsewhere.
First time in Chinatown, it’s cool as fuck. Had some killer dim sum and excellent Vietnamese coffee.
Our next stop will keep us for a few days, so radio silence until then 🫡

We spent the last month hiding among the vineyards of northern Portugal. This week we’re in Braga. We hit up the Vinho Verde Festival tonight. We had fried cheese, carpaccio, and LOTS of wine.

Porto is such a beautiful city! We really enjoyed exploring the back alleyways and the riverfront markets. The food was killer too: from traditional Portuguese to sushi, everything was fantastic.
Now it’s time to leave the cities behind and retreat into the countryside.

We visited Lisboa last week, spent the afternoon exploring back-alley street markets and ridiculously massive book shops. Did you know you can get caipirinhas like everywhere here? I fucking love caipirinhas.

Things are going smoother now. We’re in Portugal, outside Lisbon. The pet authorities here were extremely friendly and chill. We all made it across the Atlantic with nothing worse than jet lag.
We’ve got a lot more land now.

We enjoyed Virginia Beach a lot more than I expected. A really pleasant place to visit and relax. We’ve since moved on again but will remember our time here fondly.

After leaving Colorado, we spent most of April in Kansas City, where Mrs. X and I grew up. We visited family, ate some delicious meals and generally goofed around.
Then we sold our one remaining car, piled what little we still owned into a rental and fucked off to St. Louis.

Alrighty, time for more details. We sold our house in Colorado today and tomorrow morning we leave forever. We are, at this point, technically hobos. But we made some serious bank selling our house so tonight we’re living it up!
