Working on a new image inspired by a picture I saw at a Ross. It was a simple drawing of a Tiger Skin. I thought- I wanna draw a Fanciful Lothol on display- and I plan to print it out big for my Wall and make a few to match it too. A Small collection for me : D

For the #RebelNature #Waveborn Contest I wanted to make a little robot that can travel the depths of the ocean to gather information. I like to draw Bionicle figures sometimes, so I tried to figure out- if I could design a shrimp-like robot- what would it be like?

A tall frail creature stands in a pool of it's own overgrown hair, the tangles gripping and pulling it's legs deeper into the untamed locks- small plants have begun to bloom in the hair, poignant but ultimately on their own. The creature has it's back bent to the point of almost snapping, large weights where it's hands were supposed to be, dragging it closer to the sea of hair. Three creatures of varying weights and sizes sit on it's already strained back, looking at it with unreadable unrecognizable meshes of mock-faces; it is difficult to tell if there is malice behind their eyes, if they even know they are adding to the weight. A large red eye in the sky showers them with large droplets of red shiney tears, watching the scene from above- as a mirror behind the creature depicts a red and black swirling void- a pair of eyes crying as they bore into the image of an unborn fetus with a tangled cord, the tears above bathing it in blood. The creature has it's head tilted to the mirror- but it is unclear if it sees anything, or even has eyes. Bugs, flies spiders and centipedes, crawl over the creature- unbothered.

My cat died, my entire apartment building is being evicted so the new building owner can turn it into a business, I have to move during Christmas so I don't have the money to travel for my friend's bachelorette party- and now one of my friends abandoned me.

It's not perfect, but it was the first time I was able to draw after a long time feeling completely incapable of making art.
