One of the details I liked about this game was the "Run From Battle" minigame. Instead of success being completely random, you've got to solve a maze whose difficulty is determined by how strong the enemies are (compared to you).

Saw 3 guys from Meta playing at the IGF booth and they looked a little uncomfortable. :)
