I love having her family as a part of ours. I am an “adopted godmother”. My hub and another woman were the official godparents, but that woman was long ago out of the picture. As a young child, our goddaughter asked if I could be her adopted godmother. Melt my heart.

Make that 149.99% 😂 I never made that assumption. Interestingly, I am from the Midwest, and I’m not Jewish. But I’m always being pegged as a “New York Jew” because of the way I look, and I talk fast. Even my best friend guessed I would get some Jewish in my DNA test. There was none.

That would be really nice. Know what you mean. We don’t have children either, and my nephews-in-law are in Southern California. So far away. We have a goddaughter with whom we are close, and she has two kids. They are the closest we are to having grandchildren, so I am grateful for them. Cool, kids!

I know what you mean. The events are so heartbreaking and also scary. Musk has made a mess of Twitter. It’s been nice on here so far.
