i probably followed you on twitter.
Only times I've ever turned podcasts off in anger were when Marcus Buckland, Danny Kelly or Bardi were talking so they're my general avoid list.

listening these days, but Nathan is probably my favourite individual podcaster both for his tactical knowledge and how he comes across as a person so I do still listen every now and then. I miss the heady days of Ange's first 10 games, what a time for spurs podcasts!

Started listening to RTR most weeks also. Sometimes I hate-listen to some of the others (VFTL, TTW) just to get an idea of what the consensus is but sometimes find them unlistenable. TEI is a hard one because it was my favourite for a while but I went right off it last season and don't really enjoy

For me this depends on the defeat and circumstances. Under Ange last year I wanted reasoned explanations and insights, people taking the context into account etc. After a while there weren't many that offered this. TGIG became my most trusted and so generally listen every week regardless of result.

I think that he can still be a bad fit without being responsible for the overall rot though

The one serial winner who actually managed to win something with *us* (and also get to another semi final in the same season) and we binned him off because we wanted 'to compete on multiple fronts' so we hired a manager with no trophy history and no evidence that he can compete on multiple fronts

I keep coming back to where we've got our points. we have 18 points; 10 of these have come from the bottom 4 (we're one of only 2 teams Wolves have taken a point from). We've played 7 of the 11 teams above us and taken 5 points from a possible 21.

Timely reminder that 50% of Wolves' points this season have come against us

transfer windows on another dead end. Hopefully we do something amazing tonight and it kickstarts the Frank era but I think it will go badly and things will get quite toxic quite quickly
November 26, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Yeah I generally don't like the short termism re: managers but I do think sometimes it's just a bad fit i.e. Nuno. I'm reminded of people saying Frank generally starts badly at clubs so hopefully things improve but so far I'm not convinced and don't really want to waste another 2 years and several

I'm all for continuity and consistency, but why should it start now and with this manager? What would we be saying if we decided to dig in and stick with Nuno etc? FWIW I'd have kept Poch and I'd have kept Ange. Firing Frank won't fix everything but he is looking like a pretty bad fit right now

The result/performance isn't all on one man but my reply was re: playing for the manager which he kinda has to be responsible for
November 26, 2025 at 4:06 PM
thumped. Either way, the question was were they playing for the manager last season and I think there's a lot of evidence that even given the dismal form they were playing for him more than anyone seems to be playing for Frank now. Which is a big concern

Cherry picking? Vicario, Van de Ven, Romero, Udogie out. Plus other squad players. 4 teens on the bench, 2 in the starting lineup, a young GK making his PL debut away in a NLD for a team that had already lost 11 games that season or something. Sure we weren't great that day either but we didn't get
November 26, 2025 at 4:02 PM
I think the point is probably that we had worse injuries, morale, form, etc when we last went there and didn't get walloped 4-1
November 26, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Something like this I guess but with Xavi, Kudus, etc. Someone more tactically minded can probably make a decent guess of the like for like changes

Teams we've beaten this season:
Burnley (19th)
Man City (3rd)
West Ham (17th)
Villarreal
Doncaster
Leeds (18th)
Everton (11th)
Kobenhavn

3 of the bottom 4 plus Everton and then City who we somehow usually beat regardless.

There's context to consider but I'm just saying there's parallels.
November 24, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Lmao get fucked
November 21, 2025 at 6:22 PM
While we're at it, I would have called the third one Now You Three Me

Genuinely thought this was "no plans for the government to leave" signed off with a kiss

How Teams is allowed to exist is completely mystifying.
