considering i need to render up to about 350 of these on screen at once, i'd rather not make a bunch of canvases. browsers do a lot of stuff to make text fast that i'd rather not touch (bad memories of a pixi.js project at my last job lol)

it still looks a little crispy without some additional text-shadow to soften it (even on a retina display), though... and i'll say that the rendering is decidedly "stabby" in chromium browsers compared to firefox

imo this is totally useless until we get a `text-stroke-position: outside` setting

i was wondering about that... damn it could whip for tetris. weird that you get more buttons in vertical mode though. also really neat to see discrete buttons for d input. i initially thought i would hate that on the switch, but i actually kinda prefer it now...

imo regular dep unless it's critical there only be one version (react, mentioned below, is one such case), or the consumer is 100% definitely using the library too (react again comes to mind)
