Agreed.
Those that remain need an alternate economy. They have to think like insurgents.
The lack of planning for this is staggering. People thinking that protests alone are going to change anything are well intentioned but truly misguided.
The discourse seems to be only "look what they've done now"

There were many who saw it coming and got out, at any cost. Approximately 304,000 to 340,000 Jews emigrated from Germany and Austria between 1933 and the start of World War II in 1939, a number representing over half the Jewish population in Germany at the time.

They don't choose to suffer; they have no choice.

That is completely factual, realistic and it doesn't matter whether it is rooted in human compassion or not. It is, what it is.

I think ultimately you are right though. The shit is going to hit the fan, and depending on where they stand, some will get it in the face and others, on their shoes.

I have been advocating for an alternate economy but nobody is listening.

I acknowledge that situation, and I feel for them, but it makes no difference. My thoughts and prayers will mean nothing, wrong place at the wrong time.
A climatic, and geopolitical, storm is coming. What would you have said to the Jews in Germany, perhaps the Rohingya in Burma or ... so many others

The problem is that (particularly with Florida) if you see the writing on the wall, and you don't move, it will only be that much worse when you do.
There are more tenable places in the US to live. It's not ideal, but Florida has so much going against it now.

However, theories may be inferred. Circumpolar Deep Water (CDW) carries high concentrations of dissolved CO₂. When it is ventilated in open water, some of that CO₂ escapes, partially offsetting the Southern Ocean’s usual role as a major carbon sink.

It definitely doesn't say that. A bit of journalistic license I suppose, but it's a hell of a statement to make with no evidence.

Check out the recent flooding in China, Texas, Tennessee, India, Australia and even the Sahara. A lot of this moisture seems to be being released more and more in "events".

And the other oceanic hotspot in the W. Pacific -> check out "China flooding".

Now that the Israelis have air superiority my guess they are going to carpet bomb Tehran. Civilian causalities would be bad, this way they can say they gave them warning. The target area is all government and IRG buildings (according to the Israeli maps). They are going to bring down the government.

The greatest experiment in vibe coding the world has ever seen.

What could go wrong? The only challenge as the business analyst is to produce great looking UML diagrams and then find another job before the system goes live.

Then it is Someone Else's Problem (i.e. the Democrats).

I know it's coming, you know it's coming.

Look back in history and find out effective ways of economically surviving it. One method that consistently comes up is some form of barter.

If I log in to a site using a Google account, is this a problem? In theory if the government coerced Google could they crawl through everyone's social media via the Google authentication?

Like I said I don't have an opinion one way or the other. Calling them a backwards dictatorship when they are ranked as one of the happiest countries in the world is a bit harsh.
As to you wanting to fuck me, shouldn't we do dinner first?

I like statistics to form my judgement. This is pro-capital punishment article from Singapore that discusses the statistics. If you have contrary statistics please show them. I don't have an opinion 1 way or the other.

Well, I would encourage you then to check out Guizzardi's thesis. I really don't think he leaves a single stone unturned in working through the flaws.
Anyway, not trying to sell you something, just like talking about it.

Normally I would agree, diagrams like that are great for the analysts and get thrown out of the windows by the developers. But this network of ontologies is actually really different as it is layered on top of Guizzardi's Unified Foundation Ontology. UFO is a phenomenal work.
