I made a little app of fun fully 3D clocks on the Apple Vision Pro. Now it’s free to try! apps.apple.com/us/app/very-... #indiedev

Prompting! Enable or disable in settings. Pick a prompt style, and select whether you want an AI prompt, or hardcoded from a category of prompts. AI prompts can use recent context. #journaling #iOS26 #indiedev

It's out! My fun iOS 26 project - hands-free, on-the-go journaling while you're doing chores or going for a walk.

I've been using it regularly for weeks. It's pretty awesome. More info here www.cephalopod.studio/work/rambler

Ooo, the clock widgets on visionOS look nice, but I still like our fully spatial 3D clocks. apps.apple.com/us/app/very-...

Core to the clock movement is making the hands conform to a RealityKit component system. Here is the code as a gist as an example of the secret sauce behind the app.

I separated out the hands, or added my own hands, and made it so that they always coincide with the user's exact time and timezone.

It was tedious work, but honestly, pretty intoxicating to dive in and tinker and perfect.

I got 3D models from artists and I credit them in the app as appropriate with the artists' terms and such. Then, I adjusted the models with clock faces: the Steampunk Clock, the Grandfather Clocks, and the Wooden Desk Clock.

A little behind the scenes look at how I made Very Nice Clocks for the Vision Pro. Especially on making clock hands to accurately tell time!

Hi everyone. I just released an app for the Apple Vision Pro called Very Nice Clocks. Just something I wanted to exist: making truly spatial and unique and whimsical timepieces. apps.apple.com/us/app/very-...
