This feels like something a conservative would say. More punishment harsher punishment etc. I get the knee jerk reaction to seek retribution for what has happened, but let’s try to be more mindful of what we are saying. How about “arsonists who commit this crime with murderous intent etc”

I think in modern society we constantly feel like we have to turn our art or passion into our career. But that’s not true. If you love to write, you should write and maybe even self publish, but I’d suggest finding a career that still excites you, so you don’t feel you have to sell yourself for $$
