Jerome Powell, steadfast in his reluctance to lower interest rates, teased just before the ghost eclipse in Virgo (Aug 23rd) that he will likely lower interest rates. (Folding like a cheap lawn chair under the weight of this administration.) It is interesting to note how this story might play out.

A family debate right now:

Is this an angry sheep or a cute happy one with blush?

Been thinking a lot about the Zoot Suit Riots of 1943, when young Latino men were beaten in the streets by white servicemen while the cops mostly looked away or joined in. The media painted it as patriotism. The astrology at the time? Uranus in Gemini and Jupiter in Cancer.

At the winter solstice last year, in the dark and cold, I reminded myself that nothing lasts forever and Litha was just around the corner. It ironically feels dark and cold again, even on the sunniest day of the year, but we will get through these times. Nothing lasts forever.

I've always been drawn to cats. I didnt even know I was a Leo Sun until high school, or a Leo rising until I met Patrick. I had pictures of kittens plastered to my wall as a kid, cat themed everything, had only cats as pets all my life, love head scratchies and of course use the weather kitty app 😸

Seeing Demetra George's talk today about women in astrology reminded me of a post I made on Twitter a while back about Heliodora.

Russian ballet dancer Ksenia Karelina was detained in Yekaterinburg on June 20, 2024 when Uranus was at 25* 13' Taurus. It has now returned to that exact degree, this time sextile Saturn and Venus Rx, and the decision to keep her imprisoned has been reversed and she is on a plan back to the US.

I hung this artwork of my mom's. She started it years ago and always said she'd get back to it. Seeing it reminds me to not take my life for granted. My new years advice for you: finish the damn painting.

Used my "dirt" scented bath bomb today for the Saturn Cazimi, and not only did it end up smelling pretty nice, turning the water a deep black, but also in the middle was a luxurious lotion. Oh, Saturn, you are full of surprises.

Found my Saturn talisman just now that I lost last spring when I was clearing out wood. Bruh.
