It's normal to dislike something about the game and to feel free to talk about it, though. Most people I see who take issue with UB have a lot they love about the game, which is why the one issue stings.

I guess you can add that to your anecdotes.

If you want to call me a pedant, then okay. I don't care if you think I'm being pedantic. To me it matters, sorry if it mattering to me is frustrating or something.

Add in all the discussion of transmutation, alchemy and Gaia... And it becomes clear this is not intended as sci-fi.

If it does, neither of those things, we shouldn't rely on it when talking about the current state of magic.

A lot of wizards work is built or based on external IP. It's when that is integrated into the world that it's all right.

It's not cool to make fun of people who like universes beyond. We do not need to rely on arguments that are specious like this one to make that point. Because for anyone on the other side, this argument looks disingenuous.

There's whole cards giving reference to things like alchemy, Gaea, etc. It's but a sci-fi set.
it's not chill to be mean to people who like UB, but let's not bullshit ourselves.

>"Puts a specific book of folklore directly onto cards"
Pick one, you can't have both. Specifically, your original statement is just factually wrong, because AN wasn't an IP when the set came out because it was no one's property any more than the concept of "dragon."

The right move was to let a QB that's been fighting an injury, and a fairly injured starting lineup, rest for the week. They've already secured the bye, playing them would literally be stupid
(That's what playing Josh Allen for that garbage performance was, btw)
