I swear he is often drunk on screen.

But if he'd used her full name, her husband may have come to the café at 6:30 and beaten the crap out of him. This way, the lady retains her anonymity.

In the 80s we always called it "The Street" ( but I did live in the home counties)

To hear some people talk, you'd think we lost 8-0. Yes, the first half was rank but whatever was said/done at half time, made a huge difference. The players DID dig deep and find a way to win.

Henry hoovers have a terrible whine from their motor which sets my teeth on edge. However, Alfa Romeo and Saab (back in the day) drivers are in a league of their own.

If only the clown at Charlton v Watford had been the same.

This is a proper #watfordfc way of looking at things, but you do have a point. Still a fair bit of time to go. Unless PP is going for a Jokanovic-style approach to simply outscore the opposition come what may.
July 22, 2025 at 3:15 PM

As a teacher for 30+ years, I can honestly say the best gift I ever had was a card made by the roughest group of boys I ever taught. Sadly at least two of them are currently serving fairly long prison sentences.

As someone who has been teaching for 30+ years I can confidently say that each of the ideas described here has been presented to me on an INSET day as the"answer" and most of them have been looked for in lesson observations.

If we're going to change it should be to the Kelvin scale. 303K sounds really hot!
