Was a great experience having my first playtest of my mechanical prototype. Oh boy did I manage to assume a lot of things were more intuitive than they actually were. I think UX will be this month's focus.

Tonight is my first playtesting session of my game prototype! I've been working on it over the Christmas holiday very intensively, really excited to get it in front of people.

We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.

The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.
