Thrilled to report my 5-year-old somehow contracted croup while staying home recovering from norovirus. The good news is I can have a little chocolate cookie with a cup of spressy while I make Lidia Bastianich's poached chicken as a base for chicken noodle soup, so all hope has not yet died.
