Trying desperately to make the world a better place, if that's a thing. :)
It really doesn't take a ton of thought to see why Atlanta hired him. Before Nick Chubbs' devastating injury, Cleveland was a very dangerous team. Even a title contender, with middling QB play + better than average defense. We have Bijan and ( I can't BELIEVE I'm typing this) a ferocious pass rush.

I know this sounds very " no opinion", but I think that he could be a good hire. He could also be a bad hire. My actual thoughts on the Falcons for the last two seasons is this: actually show me freaking wins and then ( and only then) I'll trust you.

Oh gawd...can...someone warn them? I mean...louder than what has already happened?

15) People like @mmpadellan.bsky.social and @aoc.bsky.social and @thegodpodcast.com and @ohnoshetwitnt.bsky.social , keep getting the message out. Shine the light on them. Because they have no answers. And we can do better.

14) We can't afford to let them stay there. We will just continue to suffer for it. We can do better. I don't actually know if voting them out is even a solution anymore, they seem to be trying to block this as well, and yes, I take their threats seriously. But do vote. Do get the message out.

13) Racism. Poverty. Drugs. We know it's wrong and broken, we're not stupid. Is ANYTHING that people like Miller or Trump done fixed this, will fix this, or has EVER fixed this? Of course not. It is just a smokescreen and an easy solution for parasites like them to stay in power.

Ironically, and against it's actual xenophobic intent, the truth to "America First" is this: before anything ever really changes, it needs to heal itself from within. It's vulnerabilities do not come from outside. They are us. This is the hard part to say out loud. This is real work.

11) Being comfortable enough with your own ideals that hard drugs and crime are not a way out of the Hellscape that your neighborhood is. People, if anyone is reading this, ESPECIALLY the ones that think Miller has a point: WE CAN DO BETTER.
January 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM
10) What terrifies them is the aforementioned statement: "We can do better". They don't want this. They don'T want people that know better. They don't want you educated, or not struggling. They simply cannot stand the thought of you being happy. Being willing to defend against true and real threats.

9) Nothing is ever done to address the legalized slavery of the US prison system , or the broken schools, or rampant poverty in small towns and cities, of framers barely scraping by. NOTHING IS DONE, BECAUSE (according to the Iron Mongers) IT IS SOMEONE ELSES FAULT and they need to be stopped.
January 15, 2026 at 1:56 PM
8) This is how the never ending cycle of finding someone new to blame and going to war with them is perpetrated. Always at war.; the strong "Iron world". as Miller put it, remains as is. And we all suffer for it. Nothing is EVER done to fix the poverty, sorrow and mishandling of the US populace.
January 15, 2026 at 1:53 PM
7) Trouble is it's a temporary "solution" and they damned well know it. If the demand for these myriad types of criminal activity exist and the land is ripe for them, it will come back from somewhere else. Again. to emphasize: THEY KNOW THIS.

6) Irregardless of the wild inaccuracy that the Venezuelans did nothing to help create their oil industry, instead of addressing the core issues of "WHY is there a possibility for drugs to flourish in American society, and how can we fix this for our citizens?" They try to remove the "supplier".
January 15, 2026 at 1:47 PM
5) “American sweat, ingenuity and toil created the oil industry in Venezuela. Its tyrannical expropriation was the largest recorded theft of American wealth and property. These pillaged assets were then used to fund terrorism and flood our streets with killers, mercenaries and drugs,” Blame assigned

4) Unfortunately, this is, and has always been, the easy solution. To view the world as separate entities and not as a global community. In this world, people with "Power" stay there, and have to do nothing more than blame their own problems on someone else. It is harder to say "We can do better".

3) ....The West opened its borders, a kind of reverse colonization, providing welfare .... preferential legal and financial treatment over the native citizenry. The neoliberal experiment, at its core, has been a long self-punishment of the places and peoples that built the modern world.”

2) for some people hearing it, that weren't able to afford an education like his, it sounds inarguable and reasonable. "the West dissolved its empires and colonies and began sending colossal sums of taxpayer-funded aid to these former territories...
