It’s really not my problem that two or three people are talking out of their asses on a topic. They’re opinion based in ignorance shouldn’t be treated equally to people who are more educated on a topic.It’s not about them. They’re confident morons. Its about presenting better info for others.

The original example I used is, this is pretty much just the pharmaceutical industry before they passed laws that said you couldnt release products without reporting your data first, and having a review for approval of your product. You understand

Basically, anyone who actually takes the time to read about the foundations of what goes into an AI understands, it’s already everywhere, it’s not going away, but what guys like Musk are doing with it is irresponsible, stupid, and overall a waste of time, resources and potential.

… but people forget that ChatGPT is an AI in the same way that most things that run on machine learning are, but ultimately one is useful and one is a fad, yea. That doesn’t mean the technology as a whole is a fad, or should go away, just how we use it and think of it needs to shift

That’s literally my point. The perception of AI being a fad is predicated directly on people jumping to things like ChatGPT and in that regard I agree, it is. I also feel that that is what most people believe because that’s what rich people want it to be, to mine data, to make more money….

Also I think your kindve not realizing that yes, end of the day a lot of very wealthy people are very good at what effectively is marketing for a broken two party system. We still vote, it used to still matter, Americans are just super easy to influence on large scales. We’re big on “team sports”

It’s not a big secret man. How a nation is designed to function vs how it’s functioning are different. We were more so discussing the current situation less literally and more “in terms of legality, this is what legitimizes that legality and this is what makes it worth casting aside”

Not when they’ve already been implemented in literally every aspect of your life. Machine learning is prevalent. Advanced AIs like ChatGPT? 100% agree but the whole technology group? No, it’s too useful and humans don’t toss useful tools. We just improve them. It just wont be the US

See now that’s a fair arguement as to why it wouldn’t persist in some form at least until we figure out how to mine asteroids and that’s a LONG way off. I agree, it can’t continue in its current form and crypto is literally reinventing the wheel and then using it to scam people lol
