My company's shared claude account, was throttled today and we saw an immediate drop in productivity until throttling issues were resolved. I wonder if any leaders are thinking about over relying on a third party tool for day to day development, and this risk this adds to the business.

How legit are the "in context learning" research results google posted about gemini with respect to coding tasks? It might just be user error, but I am not really seeing better performance on coding tasks with gemini than anthropic models, even with 5 X less context window.

To start, I think we all agree that we shouldn't use floats. The contention begins with the discussion around what to use instead. The two answers are BigInt or BigDecimal. I prefer BigInt
