I like Jason Isbell’s music. He’s from near where I’m from. I first heard this song on Wits and was freaked out because he mentioned a road near where I was in that moment. Before Dana hit me with the gut punch of an opening theme she made; this is what I referred to as the opening theme. Haha.

Wits was a radio variety show turned podcast that is sadly no longer active. But they created some cool stuff over there. Including getting Metric to do an acoustic version of Help, I’m Alive. This was on constantly during the writing process.
