I hope Bill had a great time and comes back to Albany real soon. I couldn’t have asked for a better first show, wow.

I was feeling Dixieland, but landed on Tidal’s Jazz Trombone Essentials and it’s delivering the goods for pancake breakfast.

The purchasing managers of 5 major chains all need to be sat down for a stern talking to. Famously, children love bubbles past the end of August, and do not like crabby old people who pull them off the shelves. You know who would’ve stocked bubbles year round? Party City.

I don’t always score big points for my team, but when called upon I step up to the plate

My parents dog Tucker at a recent farmer’s market. He’s a mix of golden retriever and Bernese mountain dog. He had an unknown life before 7 months, but he’s learned to trust since and is almost 2yo. He’s a very good boy.

Four of five children died before age 2, one in childbirth. This peaceful monument belies the pain this poor family endured. Never again.

There were some choice books and box set cassettes at the park’s little library today. The Executive Treasury of Humor, two volumes, held a lot of promise.

7 and I at our first Neal Francis show last night. I prefer the Albany waterfront, but this was cool too.

Feeling full of life and proper tired after yesterday’s 3.5 mile Workforce Challenge. Finished in 40:02, a respectable run for not training and being *of a certain age*. Eternally grateful for yoga which has rewired my body and mind in 5yrs, and taekwondo which has boosted my kinetic capacity.

I was very excited for Neal Francis at Albany's Alive at 5 concert series this summer. Today I learned that the city moved the location from the spacious and beautiful waterfront park to a glorified pocket park that's under reconstruction, and Francis is playing at the backup location. WTF?
