I’m absolutely sick of all this politicking around our Government. Yes, mistakes have been made, but I want Sir Kier and Co to get on with the job Joe Public elected them to do. Labour MPs should support, making their views on policy in private rather than wasting everyone’s time infighting 😡

What gets me is the sheer self-centred opportunism of politicians of whatever colour changing party or of a Mayor wanting to ditch one electorate for another. Where are their principles of public service? It’s no wonder so many people are disenchanted and don’t want to vote for any of them 🤮

Very pleased that Andy Burnham will not be allowed to stand in the upcoming bi election - in my view he should finish his mayoral term before thinking about a new job. Leaving early demonstrates opportunism and consideration of self before duty. Manchester deserves better!

European leaders need to grow some cojones and stop pussyfooting around before it’s too late. Trump’s Ukrainian peace plan is utterly unacceptable to anyone except himself and Putin. Neither is it a ‘start point’ for negotiations. Why can none of them see that ‘diplomacy’ is wasted on them both?

Why is the Government in trouble?
Why is the right wing in ascendancy?
Why is immigration such a big issue?
Simple answer (and what the government has to sort out): ‘It’s the economy stupid’
People don’t riot etc when they feel well off and our generally happy.
