My favourite response from his staff was also the most stereotypically America-centric answer ever where they said the cars wouldn’t be allowed to be sold in the USA as if the entire reason for the deal was to import the cars to Canada so they could then be sold to Americans.

The people arguing for silence must have missed the nearly 2 years where social media (including some Sens fans now on Bluesky) decided Batherson’s silence about the hockey Canada scandal was confirmation he was one of the players accused and would bring it up whenever his name appeared.

At any point there are multiple republicans each saying one of “He says what he means” “you have to read between the lines” “he’s joking” or more recently “he’s always spoken in hyperbole but he’s old so you can’t make him change” about the same Trump statements.

Pretty sure Murray was the only thing holding the org together during his tenure. He used to bar Melnyk from the room after bad periods. Allegedly he’d come down drunk demanding assistant coaches be fired and telling the goalies what they should have done complete with air-goalie moves.

If these religious guys were welcome to homosexuals how would they show they’re religious? They’d have to cherry pick a different part of their religion to adhere to and that might be less convenient for them.

Hasek getting hurt in olympics and seemingly being healthy but refusing to play in playoffs. Everything from 2017/18 to present. The Sens openly tanked and hockey has been punishing them since. Everyone gives “game 7” taunts to the Leafs, but guess which franchise is 0-6 in game 7s.

He definitely showed enough to stay up, but I’d rather him continue to develop while playing top 6 minutes in the AHL than get stuck playing 8 minutes a night relegated to mostly 4th line and PP2 in Ottawa. Let’s see what he can do in the AHL with the new pace he learned to play at.

Wouldn’t this just further cement the red states as red and motivate the republicans in blue states? Pass a few bills that Republican voters are desperate for but allow state legislatures the option to delay implementation in their state.Make the republicans reps hurt their voters whenever possible

For me, this season has been more demoralizing than the Melnyk seasons were. Having a bad team playing poorly is one thing, but having a team with potential putting up the same results is harder to watch. Especially without the promising prospect pool or first round pick to get excited about.

At least we can use getting a decently high draft pick as a light at the end of the tunnel… never mind… that tunnel ends in mockery from every other fan base instead. 3rd time in 5 fucking years we’ve been in this spot.

If he takes Greenland he’ll start laying claim to all the barely inhabited islands in Canadas north and encroach as far south as he can. Then hell start with the “we surround Canada on all sides, we need to absorb them for national security” which will be an easier sell to MAGA than it was last year
