Question for any space folks who have an idea - I'm working on a little project, and I'm trying to figure out what the actual exterior of Haven 1 will look like. Some renders depict it as a matte white, others as just steel. Any ideas?

Just finished reading Andy Weir's Artemis, crossing off another notable space book I hadn't read. I enjoyed it, was a nice fun thriller with some interesting fleshing out of the setting.
I was a bit disappointed to find that the reception of the story was mixed, or worse. Oh well, I liked it.

This is the sort of thing I'd be interested in modeling someday. Nothing specific, just freelance. Sadly haven't found any similar models online.

Given that they had a successful relight on Flight 6, and that the ship catch on Flight 8 will benefit a lot from being orbital, so they have time to troubleshoot problems, multiple landing options, etc -
I think that Flight 7 will be orbital, and land in the Indian Ocean again.

This really is the end of an era, a new beginning. From here on out, SpaceX is only going to refine Starship more and more. New versions of the ships, a year from now, a new launch pad with a flame trench, we'll start seeing Starlink deployments...
