It goes deeper than bozo and his clowns. Repug c ongress could have stopped this. The billionaires could have stopped this. The repug party could have stopped this. All registered repugs are culpable. Racism is their belief. Oppression their creed. Time for change, substantive change.

What do you think about funding CPB (Corporation for Public Broadcasting)? It is behind PBS and NPR, and more importantly many underfunded small stations. I don't expect us to make inroads with the Fox crowd, but maybe a few of the 40%. They do good work.

Not sure we can ever remove the psychological force (greed) which drives fascism, we can empower the countervailing forces of inclusion, cooperation, and personal freedom. Our mistake was letting racism have an equal footing with liberty and justice for all. Racism must die.

This could work both ways. I expect us come out of this smarter, stronger, better with a new Constitution, new systems and a new appreciation for what it means to be an American. Might serve as a model for others throwing off the yoke of fascism. Give hope to the world, which is what we should do.

We've got a lot of work to do after bozo is gone. We can't expect any support from the repugs. They have demonstrated they don't want the America we want. They are fascists, anti-Americans. They must be excluded from the rebuilding process. Repugs lose the right to vote, hold office, participate.

Maybe, but with the wrong orientation. Indoctrination comes from the right, not the left. Prescribed thinking goes against most liberal tenets. Free thinkers. The Enlightenment.

And yet we have so many who want to limit voting, deny due process, discriminate, oppress, and terrorize (ICE). Is it possible we have non-Americans, anti-Americans among us? People who call themselves Americans, but aren't? People here under false pretensions? Could fascists be in power?

It would be nice if we had an unfettered press, but we don't. Too many work for billionaires (WaPo, LA Times, CBS) who want to control the news. Job security is a big deal. Not all speak their minds, ask the right questions. Even bozo has Truth Social.

As Gemini explained it to me, impeachment only removes them from office. It still lets them roam free and incite their minions. Martial law gives unlimited power to the generals. I assume that means arrest and confinement. Do we need martial law to get our country back? I think we can make a strong

Maybe not. Without bozo would you believe some in gov. wanted a fascist state? And were willing to spend billions to achieve it? And use any method, fair or foul, to corrupt the system? Did you ever think we needed a brand new Constitution? A new money free system? He opened our eyes, damn him.

The repugs are not the American society. The cult is about 35% of us. They are the anti-Americans. Nothing in their actions, policies, or beliefs represent American values. They are the racists, xenophobes, homophobes, misogynists, and Christian nationalists. They are fascists.

The way this was explained to me, the soldier and/or general does not get to decide which order is legal or not, that is left up to the lawyers. Guess what they've been doing to the Judge Advocates General's Corps? As we've seen with the DoJ, they've dumbed it down and politicized it. Not good.

It's should be more than bozo. Sr. Staff and the 6 Supremes should be sequestered at Camp David. All repug pols and Staff held incommunicado at the Waldorf (old Trump Tower). Cut off the head. Be great if local police could disarm ICE and militias, otherwise we may need troops Guard.

Blessing in disguise? We need substantive change: a new Constitution and money purged from the system. With Shumers and others, unlikely we would take the necessary steps. Now, we have seen what fascism looks like. It's ugly enough to goad us into action. Silver lining? The bitter pill?

Not so much dumb, though that is part of it, they are trapped. They were born and raised in cultures which are racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, and intolerant (Christian Nationals). They are anti-Americans. They don't believe what we believe. They are angry and afraid. They won't change

2. we may surprise ourselves at how quickly we can have M4A, UBI, affordable education and housing, equitable tax code, and an engaged citizenry. They've held us back far too long. Take money out of politics and we might get the country we should have. And a new Constitution. America 2.0.

I'm not so sure. It will depend on which institutions we keep, which we reform, and how we do it. If we insist on coexisting with the racists, xenophobes, homophobes, and Christian nationalists, you know the anti-Americans, then yes, long, slow and painful. If we marginalize them (disenfranchise)

It shouldn't. We may need to fumigate. Arrest bozo and those close to him for treason. Arrest all DC pols, many of the major donors, and media voices responsible for anti-American activities: willful destruction of America, sedition. Dissolve the rupug party. Disenfranchise all registered repugs.
