Leave in conditioner works for me when my hair gets static. I just spray it into my hands and rub it on the ends.
TECHNICALLY you're only supposed to use that stuff when your hair is damp but it adds enough moisture that it fixes the issue.

I know. I've been using coconut oil under that and it's helping

That's what I'm using now and my lips get SOO DRY after 30 minutes 😩
