Focusing about anything unit related in the Russo-Ukrainian war.
It seems like Russia is Valuyki, Belgorod as base for this operation, there haven't been any geolocated strikes in the city in the last few months which also indicates a low priority by Ukraine.

🇷🇺 Russia has moved four Regiments and elements of two more from northern to western Kharkiv since the beginning of July. This marks another shift away from the northern direction.
This transfer aims at reinforcing the successes near Kupyansk, whereas the Russian northern campaign has mostly failed.

🇷🇺 Russia continues to redeploy forces away from southern Pokrovsk
-90th Tank Division is now entirely south of Ivanivka-Novopavlivka
-35th, 55th, 74th, 137th Brigades redeployed from southern Pokrovsk towards Novopavlivka
-Only 15th, 30th Brigades & elements of 27th Division remain south of Pokrovsk
October 9, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Russia has steadily expanded its control west of Velyka Novosilka over the last months. The Eastern Grouping tries to circumvent a deadlock at the Vovcha River by moving multiple Brigades towards the south. Namely the 5th Tank, 36th and 37th Motorized Rifle.

🇷🇺 Unit movements in the south Donetsk direction:
- 29th and 36th Army shifted south to reinforce the push towards Pokrovs'ke
- 90th Tank Division took up the positions near the Vovcha river
- 74th and 137th Brigade take over old 90th Tank Division positions
September 24, 2025 at 6:53 PM
The 336th Naval Infantry Brigade has redeployed toward Pokrovsk as well, joining the 177th Regiment and the 61st, 155th and 40th Brigades already in the area — all likely operating under the Russian Naval Infantry grouping.

Russian Marines from the 61st Brigade, recently redeployed from Kherson, thank volunteers for donating water tanks in this video filmed at the 'Hypermarket' parking lot in Donetsk.

🇷🇺 Russian Regrouping
Due to water shortages in Donetsk, many Russian units turn to volunteers for essential supplies.
Through this we have been able to confirm that the 61st and 336th Naval Infantry Brigades are in Donetsk, joining the Russian Naval Infantry Grouping

🇷🇺Russian redeployments continue.
The battered 11th Air Assault Brigade has moved from Sumy to Kherson to free up the 104th Air Assault Division for further offensive operations in southern Zaporizhia
September 9, 2025 at 5:41 AM
Important units in Sumy have been the 80th and 95th Air Assault brigades, pictured here in the sectors they have held during the summer (near Yunakivka and east of it).

These highly capable units are likely to be earmarked for transfer to the east, should the necessity arise.
September 6, 2025 at 3:59 PM
From west to east, the current disposition includes 71st Jager Brigade, 15th "Stalevyi Kordon" Border Detachment and 1st Heavy Mechanized Brigade.

The 103rd TDF, 17th Heavy Mechanized and 21st Mechanized brigades hold, respectively, the borders west and east of the salient.
September 6, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Units in the rest of the salient do not seem to be in the process of moving at the moment.

It is worth highlighting that the 225th Assault Regiment may have reduced its presence around Andriivka to a single battalion (Shkval Battalion) following counterattacks in early summer.
September 6, 2025 at 3:59 PM
During August, the 156th Mechanized Brigade transferred to the Pokrovsk direction (possibly around Shakhove and Sofiivka).

It was previously deployed in Yunakivka, where it was replaced by the veteran 47th Mechanized Brigade.

The 47th moved here from the border further west.

Ukrainian units are beginning to transfer out of Sumy, following Russia's regrouping that we reported on last week.

In this thread we will review the current Ukrainian disposition in Sumy, including recent changes and which units might move out soon.

The most critical part of 3AK's sector is the area held by the 60th and 66th Brigades - the northern Lyman axis.
These brigades have had limited rotations in the past year, so it remains to be seen whether 3AK can stabilize the situation and slow down the recent Russian advances.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The 115th Mechanized Brigade provides support and attached elements between Lyman and Kupyans'k.

For the moment, it does not seem like it will join 3AK.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The 66th Mechanized Brigade is not organically part of the 3AK for the moment: in a recent post it was mentioned as "attached".

It is unclear whether this will remain the case, as it holds a crucial sector in the center of the 3AK's area of responsibility.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The four Brigades announced so far hold sectors between Stepy and the Serebryans'kyi Forest - this is claimed to be the largest Ukrainian Corps sector so far, spanning up to 150 kilometers of frontline.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
This is the composition of the 3rd Army Corps.

The maneuver brigades were revealed on the Corps' socials last week, while other varied sources confirmed the existence of many support units.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The Ukrainian 3rd Army Corps (3AK), based on the infamous 3rd Assault Brigade, revealed part of its subordinate Brigades last week.

Their sector is the Izyum axis and, as was previously reported by Ukrainian press, they replaced Tactical Group "Kreminna" in June.
August 11, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The 241st TDF Brigade seems to have battalions spread around the frontline, but its UAS units have recently become active in Kam'yans'ke.

The 44th Artillery Brigade has had elements on the southern front since 2023, along with detachments in the Sumy direction.
July 18, 2025 at 6:10 PM
The 110th Mechanized Brigade is not currently deployed: following fighting in Velyka Novosilka, it rotated out in April but suffered a deadly strike on its command post in the rear (Huliajpole, Dnipro oblast) on July 1st.

Elements remain in the Sumy and Novopavlivka directions.
July 18, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Marfopil, Malynivka and Olhivske fall under the 102nd and 110th TDF Brigades - these are not currently part of 17th Army Corps.

However, they likely were under OTU Zaporizhzhia in the past, so it is unclear whether they will be attached to 17AK or remain separate.
