Even by my standards, Frankenstein’s Hot Wire Cutter is a bit much. 🤣
But it’s meant that I can cut a clean edge on big sheets of XPS foam, and then cut 29 cm strips to about half a millimetre accuracy.
Using my spray booth as a fume hood was definitely a good idea.

Any idiot can make a vehicle amphibious. The trick is making it so that it is amphibious more than once.
If this happens then people are going to drown, and worse it is going to be a right pain to recover their bodies from a 3-ton sunken steel tomb.

When I was in the UK military (RAF) we had Hägglund BV-206 all-terrain vehicles that were *designed* to be amphibious. Even then, the rules were that if you went on water - in calm conditions only! - you had the top hatches open for quick escape and wore lifejackets.

I recently came across a painting tip for hazard stripes, paint them in black and white so it’s easy to do any tidying up, then glaze over the whole lot with Nazdreg Yellow.
Works well for Epic too. 😍

I’m finally getting somewhere with the ‘Quake Cannon’ for my Titanicus-scaled Gargant, after dismissing the Leman Russ Battlecannon barrel and setting it aside for either the belly gun or the Warlord equivalent.

I’m still not 100% sure how the bottom half will end up looking, but at least the Titanic Reaver-equivalent Gargant is now glued to a base.
