I’ve been working my way back through the Arkham games over this passed year. I completely forgot about Azrael being in Arkham City and then had a weird memory to being a kid and my nan buying me a Batman figure from Tesco. Didn’t realise it was Knightfall Azrael ‘til just now.

Catching up with Absolute Batman. Let me tell you I’ve not found cape comics this fun in forever. Batman when he’s just a really smart engineer who’s roided up the wazoo doing MMA and making inventions without money and on budget is insane. Love his absolute hatred too. The Bat Axe is incredible.

Gachiakuta could have been a 90s anime. For a moment I thought it was. It’s entirely y2k coded. Post-apocalypse, a planet turned into a landfill by greedy apocalypse people who live above the planet. Downtrodden protagonist gets really mad and has magic powers. Character designs are all big shapes
