Systems + mind stuff. Tech, ethics, perception, and whatever rabbit hole I’m in this week.
...ress doesn’t look obvious yet, because it only becomes clear once change actually happens and society adjusts around it.

What seems to happen a lot is that the left pushes real progress for two or three terms, then things stall. The generation shaping media and politics keeps focusing on the same issues, while younger people are living in a world where those earlier wins are just the baseline. The next wave of prog...

They didn’t even put the grocery cart back where it’s supposed to go. Smh.

But seriously, the funding going to ICE just feels like pouring money into another militarized force. It is money spent on removing people who help keep our economy running.

Do you think they specifically asked for white people, or do you think AI just did it on its own? Prolly on its own right?

I keep saying this whenever I can, but Trump is really just trying to convince his voters that everything is going great. This reads like a cost-of-living referendum more than an ideology fight. If you’re -22 on the economy and -28 on tariffs, voters are basically saying “stop doing things that make prices jump.” Border being the only thing near-even doesn’t buy you much when people feel squeezed every day.

Tariffs aren’t just “who pays.” They’re a regressive price shock (hits low-income hardest) and a small-business headache, and once they’re in place they turn into carveouts/exemptions/classification games for lobbyists. Consumers pay, and the politically-connected dodge.
