The Headlines • Greenhouse pollution in Warrington is falling, but it is not yet falling fast enough • Transport fuels and gas used for heating are the biggest direct sources of local greenhouse pollution • Local people and organisations are taking action but we need to do more • UK greenhouse pollution is falling but without further action, won’t fall fast enough • Globally pollution is still rising, but not as fast as it would without actions to stop it • We are not on course to stabilise temperatures in line with global agreements • Locally some adaptations are being made to the changing climate, but there is not yet a co-ordinated and widespread response • It’s likely that few local households and organisations are prepared • Globally and locally, we are already seeing the impacts of more extreme weather and changing weather patterns • In the UK, the risks from the changing climate have been assessed, but we remain ill-prepared to deal with them

Not much has changed with respect to resource use
