Eventually I'll get out of this 'debt' and I apologize profusely whenever I talk to an author. Blatantly, it was wrong, and hurts authorship as a whole. Kinda like how AI is hurting everything right now.

I used to torrent forever ago, justified by being dirt poor, still feel shitty about it. I've been slowly buying all the books I torrented over the years, mostly physical when I can. Almost reaching par. Read the essay by @maggiestiefvater.bsky.social on pirating and it's costs. Heartbreaking.

Loved it! Favorite is still Wizardry 8 but the MM series holds a special place in my heart.

Different game (Age of Wonders 4) but I'm hating the mod abandonment due to like 6+ dlc and so many people moving on. So much just doesn't work any more cause of ad ons.
