Just posted Fast Fur v5.1.0.Beta.7 on my Discord server, ready for testing!

It has a new render quality system that can finally handle FoV properly, which is a technical puzzle that had me stumped me literally for years!

Rokoko decided to change their ToS and start selling my motion capture data.

Thankfully, I'd already returned the suit and gloves, due to technical issues (my house has major radio interference problems).

The staff were very nice people to deal with. Polite, helpful, understanding, etc...

I finally have a working proof-of-concept solution for my Vive tracker radio interference problems!

I can plug 4 trackers into a Raspberry Pi, which is running VirtualHere. It uses 5GHz, so no interference with the other 4
trackers.

Now I just need to clean up the cables!

I FINALLY just posted Release Candidate 1 of "Warren's Fast Fur Shader v5.0" for testing!

It's more than a year behind schedule, but I'm confident the extra time was worth it to get it right.

Testing out a new "anisotropic" lighting formula. It's much faster, and makes metallic fur really shine (literally)!

Darn! I wanted to try the brand new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 by flying into the "Bomb Cyclone" that's currently just offshore from where I live.

Unfortunately, the XBox servers are completely overwhelmed, so after ~3hrs in the queue, I had to go to bed...

I'm finally getting ready to finish and release v5.0 of my shader. It's been almost a full year of working on it, and I'm proud of all the progress.

Once that's done, I want to start making tutorials, guides, tips-and-tricks, etc..., on how to use it!

I just messed up a new equation for clumping the fur, and this appeared instead. I just accidentally discovered how to turn my fur shader into a feather shader!
