DOGE just purged federal agency Bureau of Land Mgt. (BLM) that supports hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, cattle raising and oil & gas drilling in Red States and Red parts of Blue states.

One year later, I did first planning for earthquake, tsunami and nuclear-impacted areas of Japan with UN and others. Devastating, but some takeaways: after first responder issues, bicycles and energy efficiency got people through disaster. Patriarchal, nuclear-centric planning was outmoded.
