A fake ceasefire will prove disastrous for us. We haven't been impressive on the production front while ruzzia has been in full war production mode.

It still must undergo a massive transformation. It needs to come to terms with its past or this will keep happening. I can cite many respected academics on this until the cows come home. This is one of the core issues and why it continues its imperialist conquest. It won't stop in Ukraine.

I've only started this book authored by @keirgiles.bsky.social . It's very sobering to say the least. We are still losing this race against a regime that wants to invade. The terror it carries out in Ukraine can happen at our own doorsteps. 1/3

You cannot change ruzzia. The book further said that Ruzzia needs its ‘Unamuno moment’. I am deeply skeptical that ruzzia will ever change. It can only change if it comes to terms with its past and present. Even then, it must be deprogrammed. One asks: how? I don't know.

ruzzia always uses history as a weapon. Its belief that it lost its ‘empire’ fuels its imperial aggrandisement. To understand ruzzia today, you need to look further back than Georgia — all the way to Yugoslavia. There are other factors, but that’s for another day.
