Got soem fancy new waterproof bags for the Clydesdale/Xtracycle. Can't wait until bike camping season. Hopefully I can get the rear buttoned up before mid March, and the front will follow in time for a May overnighter.

What a fun single day trip to Minneapolis. The bike swap there was great, saw some friends, had good food (lowbrow Minneapolis), and took the opportunity to visit George Floyd Square for the first time. Perfect choice during Black History Month. Heavy, sad, but also inspiring.

There have been issues with that airport (and with the FAA and air traffic controllers) for years, but this certainly doesn't help. Perhaps we could pay better and hire more instead of trying to gut federal agencies.

I this dry ( not that cold but still cool) winter, don't forget to use a humidifier if you get nosebleeds or have respiratory issue like sinus infections and dry throat.

If you're wondering what you would have done when detention camps for immigrants went up in 1930s Germany, it's probably what you're doing right now.
It is not only illegal, but it's immoral and must not happen. If you're as disgusted by this as I am, you're gonna need to channel that into action.

Scored the rear 26" Disc wheel I needed to continue work on Project Cargo Ripper. Can't wait to button up the rear end and figure out the financial logistics of the front. Maybe it'll be complete by the Swift Campout in June!

found this ticket in my coat pocket today. this ticket was made by a company in Indiana, and it's been around making tickets and other sundry items since 1971. 54 years of making things people absolutely need, but rarely think twice about. And yet, many hands and minds went into that ticket. Neat.
