It’s terrifying to hear someone in charge of such a powerful army saying this. War crimes abroad and nothing to stop them from unleashing the army on their own citizens.

Were committee members remunerated for this? Would it not be fraud to present a document with fake information in it? They clearly didn’t do the work and should also face some professional consequences for it.

Even if he were a genius, is there really a strategy that would result in a lasting ‘deal’ with a capricious person who has shown he can undo it all on a whim?
People need to realize this is not a superhero movie where the small good guys beat the big evil monster with just their smarts and heart.

I have vague memories of a McGill Frosh week pub crawl stop at Peel Pub in 1997😆. Other undergrad memories of sharing pitchers of beer and fries(?). Pour one out for Peel Pub!

As long as you are a naturalized citizen you just never know when you might need to unearth a 30-yr old lease to prove you lived somewhere, or the study permit you renewed in your 3rd year of university. It’s a luxury you can’t assume to have. That’s just the reality of today’s world.

This is now the funniest (to me) misunderstanding re: the election of a new pope. The previous holder of the title was a Kenyan newspaper which mistakenly announced that the newly elected pope’s name was “Habemus Papam”😆😆😆.
