I am a 30 something forge witch. I’m discovering this path as I go because much of the magickal lore surrounding my craft is lost or niche.

I create the metal/leather tools for other witches and I create art pieces (functional and non) for the common folk/banal use.

Take care with your actions! Your consumption, littering, choice to collect a pretty flower, usage of single use materials, food waste, and everything you do leaves ripples in the fabric of the universe! The web that binds us all from our conscious souls to our frame of stone (bones).

With non living things do I recognize them as the bones of the living universe? Do I allow a stone to fill its role as shelter or decay into the mortar that binds the soil under my feet? Do I consider how refuse I create poisons the land?

With living things I need to be conscious of consumption. How are my choices honoring the life force I am using? Am I being gluttonous or ungrateful? Am I killing/taking without any intention of use squishing bugs etc.? Am I nourishing the environment around me or polluting/devouring it?

This means that not only should my interactions with humans recognize their humanity (provided they haven’t given it up), but that I should recognize my place in the cycles of death and rebirth that have existed for time immemorial.
