Cows are so funny. “I’d love to get the hell out of here.” And as soon as they do, they’re like oh shit. Now what have I done. We have had deputies show up when one or more of ours get out. Immediate regret.

I do have that app! But there is some bird in my backyard that I can’t quite identify. It’s driving me crazy.

This is so very random but I was sitting at Liberty 🗽 Park, in NYC, waiting for family to see what they needed to see and a starling sat near me. I had no idea what kind of bird it was at the time but I was mesmerized. I’m trying to find the video.

I almost feel like I’m letting someone down by not keeping up with the news. Which makes no sense. But most days, I just cannot. I’ve canceled so many newspaper and magazine subscriptions. It hurts me but I just can’t take it anymore.

I was also mad because my SkyView app wasn’t working (which makes me mad about people being fired from NOAA jobs and whatnot). But then seeing the Lights changed my mood.

I am just west of Fort Worth. We had to get phone settings just right and got the photos. Supposed to be visible again tonight. Just probably not to the naked eye.
