Let’s make this weekend a powerful display of peace, inclusiveness, respect for all life, and joy—let’s model the ideals of a true community of equals.
Reminders for the rallies, especially important this weekend at #NoKings events. Essentially, lead with your values, what you’re for rather than what you’re against, by modeling friendliness, peace, respect, and inclusiveness with your signs, your greetings, your chants, your tone, your care for the environment/space. Model non-violence in every action, and alert a Guardian rather than engaging with people opposed to the rally. Look out for each other and carry the joy back into your community.

What a beautiful evening we had for exploring the Waller Creek Show, and oh how my heart needed this. My gratitude to the artists—
Art installation features scores of fish suspended over a stone footbridge and creek. The group of fish are lit from within in a way that creates a prism or rainbow affect across them, and is reflected in the water. People stand on the bridge interacting with the exhibit.
