With the buoyancy, it's quite intensive, I'd say. As a player, I'd rather have the pointers near the edges of the screen so that the main view aesthetic remains unchanged, and I can enjoy the sights. Also, it would be clearer to me: arrow at the top = good; plus more precision due to larger area.

I love that the avatars are not human! Might feel very cool in VR and you probably don't get the character/physical disonansce since I think most of us don't know how it is to be a penguin xd

Great recommendations so far, here is what I'd try if I wanted to keep the structure as similar as possible:

Along with the restart allow the player to deconstruct some of the buildings, regaining resources and allowing to place new ones in their stead. The recouped resources could come at a loss.

Do you think that the delay on handtracking will be an issue for your game? Did you think of any tricks to nullify it?

Definitely! Materials about the first Prince of Persia or Civilization were super interesting!

Left. There is a lot of going on but the title is readable. The square one especially, though you lose the line leading the ship there, it's just a loop. On the landscape one the background might be a bit too noisy but both are better by far in the new version!

As for the release date, we don't have one yet, but very soon you'll be able to play the demo on Quest Standalone - 2 and 3! And for the full game, we are most likely looking at Q1 of 2025.

It looks great! Pixel art in compound looks amazing. For a while we were considering the same and I kind of wish we tried! Were the pixel art models easier to optimize for VR or were there unforeseen challenges?

This gif sold me! I've seen that truck a bunch but seeing a solid gameplay feature on a sandbox level with a lot of other ones in the background! I can't wait!

It's a tactical game I'm prototyping right now. The working title is "Frontline" or "Baltazan" and the theme is "Help your Chief get home".
