I am truly sorry they did that to you, and I agree that rejecting Israel isn't a silver bullet vs antisemitism. If an antisemite wants to attack us, they're going to do it anyway. But I don't believe Israel makes me safer, either—even if it did, the cost is too high. There must be a better way.

I think it's sad that you dismiss an entire generation's experiences out of hand. We've all watched white supremacists shoot up and vandalize our synagogues, businesses, and homes. The President rewards and protects them for it. Antisemitism is still here. Othering instead of listening makes us weak
