Last visit to #GDWS saw the final conclusion to a Wild West Epic (What A Cowboy Campaign). A final showdown in the town of Gorbals, bullets were a flying, on the end the MacGregor gang were triumphant, wiping out the Daltons, the lattershired bounty hunter being the sole survivor who sneaked off.

Roman anti-cheating device to ensure a fair roll of the dice when gaming!
This copper-alloy tower is known as the Vettweiss-Froitzheim Dice Tower after its find location in Germany.
Latin translates as: ‘The Picts defeated, the enemy has been destroyed, play in safety'.

@loudouns.org.uk Wargames Weekend was another great gaming weekend - Battle of Raab was refought, there was a Napoleonic naval clash, unfortunately the Battle of Fraustadt was curtailed, ironically due to heavy snow

Played my 1st game of Never Mind the Matchlocks at #GDWS. Really enjoyed it.
Quick flowing and full of action. Morale tests can be brutal. We played 11am-3pm. Edged the win with 2 remaining army morale chits.
An overdue chance to get my 28mm figures out.
