Over the summer, I wanted to work on a nice and easy video project. So I thought to myself 'Hey, handheld Castlevania!'.
After having played 9 games and being 75 pages deep into my script, I think I can see my mistake 🫠

Now I hunt for S++ ratings in all levels.
Why?
Because I absolutely love this game. While practicing the levels over and over again I notice even more how timing matters and every movement ability has its use.

Played Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound for a couple of hours on its release yesterday.
The game is SO awesome. Every part of it come together and creates an experience that is familiar and fresh at the same time.

Played the demo for Dead as Disco yesterday.
Great fighting game with cool Neonpunk aesthetic.
Gameplay feel reminds me of the Batman Arkham series.
Love the spin on music the game shows. Rhythm connects well with the system.
Excited to see where the team takes the game! 🕺

Just finished Castlevania II: Simon's Quest.
It is absolute beyond me how anyone ever finished this game without outside help.
But the game already has some cool ideas. It's awesome to see this early stage of Metroidvanias.
