Extreme cold this week: limit time outside, dress in warm dry layers, cover exposed skin, and take warming breaks—frostbite can happen in minutes. Check on neighbors/older adults, and watch for frostbite/hypothermia symptoms. Seek care if severe.

Everyone has constitutional rights—regardless of status. If ICE comes to your door: keep it closed. Ask to see a judge-signed warrant with your name/address through a window or under the door. No judicial warrant = you can refuse entry.

We are proud to be a city that welcomes and supports immigrant and refugee communities. We condemn hateful language or actions towards immigrants and refugees, or anyone who calls Minneapolis home. We acknowledge the public's constitutional right to free expression & peaceful, lawful demonstrations

Everyone has constitutional protections—regardless of immigration status. If ICE comes to your home: keep the door closed. Ask to see a judicial warrant signed by a judge with the correct name/address (through a window or slid under the door). No judge-signed warrant = you can refuse entry.

Recent reports of ICE activity include detaining or arresting U.S. citizens. If this happens to you or someone you know, learn about your rights, how to report what happened, and where to get help. ➜ https://bit.ly/4qlTdkn

We, along with the State and City of Saint Paul, are suing the Trump Administration to end its unconstitutional and dangerous “Operation Metro Surge”, which is creating chaos, degrading safety and violating civil rights in our city.

With multiple federal agencies in town, know what City of Minneapolis uniforms look like. City staff will not ask your immigration status. MPD officers do not mask to hide their identity.
