That's right, Project Lexa will be playable again as a part of Leftfield Collection, this time at EGX / MCM Comic Con Birmingham! It will be playable all weekend, November 28th through the 30th.

And rounding out the crew is the ship’s assigned M.A.R.C. unit. M.A.R.C. — or the Multitool Armament for Robotic Consultation — is a helpful, but chatty, robot that has just as much chance to help the crew as get in their way!

Leading the team is Captain Billon “Bill” Maddox! Seasoned yet not so sure of himself, Maddox has been tasked with captaining this small crew on a low pressure reconnaissance mission. Surely nothing bad will happen!

Making sure the crew stays safe and healthy is serious business! That’s why they’re happy to have onboard Mo Babbitt, the ship’s no-nonsense medical officer.

Need someone who knows everything about weapons and armaments? Seric Boltzmann’s your guy. The crew’s weapons officer is a seasoned vet that isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty — or even crack a joke every once in a while!

One of your crewmates is engineer Clarke Jansky. Extremely talented but always nervous, Jansky handles all things technological. He even built his own prosthetic arm!

You’ll be playing as Lex Kelza, an “interface specialist” in the world of Project Lexa. Interface specialists handle all things communication — managing comms devices, conducting diplomatic missions, and translating languages! We think that last one will be pretty important during the game...

Without any audio, our game would be as quiet as the vacuum of space! That’s why we have our incredible composer, Chris Lucca (@flipluka.bsky.social), who’s helping give Project Lexa an awesome soundscape and soundtrack!

Project Lexa is also joined by John Wilinski (@wowjohnwow.bsky.social), helping us out with animations and 2D art! Having worked previously in both video games and animation, John’s skills are a huge help in bringing the game to life!

The third member of our Project Lexa crew is Kate Gray (@hownottodraw.bsky.social), narrative designer extraordinaire! Kate’s been helping with telling Project Lexa’s story and giving each member of the game’s cast a voice, and we’re so lucky to have her helping us out!

Next we have Nick Nazzaro (@thenazzaro.bsky.social) joining us as Project Lexa’s art director! With years of experience in both tabletop and animation, Nick’s virtuosity in visuals helps create the world of Project Lexa! Be sure to check out the above post for some awesome concept art by him!

First we have our lead programmer and game director for the project: Dylan Ilvento (@dylanilvento.bsky.social)! You may know Dylan as the person who’s been running things over here at Ward Games, and he’s also leading the team for Project Lexa.
