idk, I read this as estimating the distribution of the polling average, not that of the election result. I agree that the former is much less useful than the latter, but it's also much more straightforward to calculate.

ok but the chart you posted shows cumulated price increase since 2000, 10 years before the ACA was passed.

If the intent was to discuss the ACA why wouldn't you post a chart designed to reflect that?

the chart is also basically deceptive: it cumulates inflation from 2000, well before the ACA.

If you re-index the data so that both series are normalized to 100 in 2010, you see that post-ACA price inflation has been in-line with overall inflation, a massive change from pre-ACA trends.

I would say the highlighted description is basically lying? The 30-34 male bucket has N=4, and all the other buckets have the expected sexual dimorphism (including the left-hand for 30-34).
