Yeah, I have the 8bitdo Pro 2 for ~5 years now. It recently got some connection issues when switching from Switch to PC, so I bought a dedicated PC controller.

I guess in hindsight, I should have just bought the same or newer models of the Pro2.

The primary controller layout for PC controllers is designed for shooters and 3D games. I guess that means those are the most played genre for PC.

Not gonna lie, I feel like it's implying that if you don't play those games, don't play on PC.

The JRPG I'm playing right now is 2D. The movement is just left/right and the gameplay is selecting actions from a menu. It mainly uses the d-pad, and it feels so constrained using this controller.

And even with reaaaally slow-paced JRPGs, there's still some progress if I play for an hour.

But with gacha, most runs that take an hour each wouldn't even guarantee any progress. Just repeating the same thing over and over, just waiting for some sort of luck to arrive.

Even though I already know what's gonna happen on the next seasons... Steve's situation really sucks.

I really want to have a physical collection, but having these exorbitant second hand prices don't help.

I think the closest I could get to a collection is just buying cases and print the game covers on my own.

Most of the second hand prices would be 85-95%. I really feels like that 15% isn't worth it considering that the game itself might not work, some hidden damages on the case, and just the risk of encountering a stingy seller.

I'm know that there's a benefit for that in games, like using supersampling, but that tech doesn't really apply to pictures, does it?
