The Mennonite furniture at St. Jacobs is really impressive. I'm not going to need furniture any time soon, but there are some unique places out there.

There are really no good Canadian furniture companies from my experience, even when you pay more. I'd recommend Ikea, which is at least not a U.S. company, over most alternatives. Not a perfect company but until Canada makes furniture locally, I don't know who else to recommend.

The Brick sells terrible, terrible furniture. I want to buy Canadian as much as possible but I'd never send someone to that store.
