No not at all Brian, I completely see the point you're making. The mid 80s to me was when everything turned sour in society, it was for what I saw as the end of a great time. I'm not saying Maggie was always on the right track. The obsession with smashing the unions did more damage than good.

I have to say Thatcher was an improvement on the previous dead government under Callahan and she did turn things around in the beginning. She stood her ground, bit too stubborn! All we have today is a bunch of wet blankets in the commons.

Let's face it, the electorate do not know who to turn to in order to put things right. There isn't a choice. They're all ready to jump ship, problem is farage's ship is already taking on water! Out of the frying pan as they say....

I don't think it's the different faiths so much as it is people taking it to extremes and twisting it to suit their own agendas.
